ABOUT
Pelvic Health – ‘Taking Control – Movement and the Pelvic floor’

General exercise is important for our health at all ages. However, 1 in 7 women experience incontinence during physical activity and 1 in 3 women experience symptoms of a prolapse with activity at some time in their lifetime. Is your pelvic floor stopping you from exercising? This workshop addresses some of the common problems with pelvic floor dysfunction, such as stress incontinence, bowel issues or proplase. It discusses what exercises may facilitate good pelvic floor function or what exercises to avoid, and how you can ‘take control ‘ of your pelvic floor to be able to continue to enjoy your exercise – no matter what level.
