Liz Richards – (086)8963425


Liz Richards is the founder of The Ananta Yoga Studios and a Yoga Alliance Certified Instructor with over 1000 training hours behind her. She has been teaching Yoga full time since 2008. 

She teaches Classical Yoga using the Vinyasa Krama system for all levels from Beginners – Advanced students and her teaching is firmly rooted in the lineage of Krishnamacharya.  

Liz’s passion for yoga is preceded by a love of ballet, modern dance,  gymnastics and equestrian sport in her youth. Having dipped in and out of the internal arts of Yoga, Tai Chi  & Karate from her late teens, she began attending regular yoga classes following the birth of her third child in a bid to improve her general health and over come post-natal depression.

She established a disciplined daily practice in the form of Ashtanga Yoga and was instantly drawn to the often challenging physical aspect of this ancient discipline and the mental peace and clarity which began to reveal itself through the practice…………..



David Curtis –

David Curtis (500RYT) of Vinyasa Yoga Dublin leads the 200-hour Yoga Alliance Certified Teacher Training Programme at The Ananta Yoga Studios, Wicklow, Ireland and runs regular weekly classes and weekend workshops at the studios.

David has been leading Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training Courses since 2006 throughout Ireland and brings a wealth of many years personal training, practice and teaching experience to his trainings.  His courses are well structured and professionally run and have earned him a reputation of excellence in Yoga Teacher Training in Ireland………

Lesley-Anne is a Chartered Physiotherapist and Pilates Instructor. She specialises in women’s health, particularly back and pelvic problems antenatally and postnatally and pelvic floor dysfunction…………..



Louise Curran – (087) 6032202

Louise’s introduction to yoga came at a young age with yoginis Mum and older sister in the home. During her early working life she went to yoga classes in local gyms and really only felt the physical benefits of yoga. It wasn’t until the move to Ireland in 2008 that she began to explore yoga inside the body and became aware of and experienced the connection of mind and body through the breath………..

Maxine Bonus – (086) 8052486

Maxine has been practising yoga since 2008, when she initially came to yoga as a pro-active approach to injury prevention while engaging in other activities such as cycling and long distance running.

Her  journey began with the practice of Ashtanga Yoga.  A year later she was introduced to Vinyasa Flow and immediately connected with this style where asanas are connected through the breath for a transformative and balancing effect………..

Vanessa had dipped in and out of yoga since her early twenties but did not recognise the true value of the practice until she began to take classes with Vinyasa Yoga Instructor Liz Richards at The Ananta Yoga Studios. Life with three children was busy and Vanessa needed to find peace in her life. She found this peace in her weekly classes at The Ananta Studios on her yoga mat. With a home practice already evolving she dived deeper and deeper into this transformative process………………..

Ciara Butler is a 200 hour Yoga Alliance Certified Instructor, A qualified Pregnancy Yoga Instructor,  an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), Midwife, Yogini and Mother. She teaches Pregnancy Yoga at The Ananta Yoga Studios and provides support and advice to breast feeding Mums through her role as a Lactation Consultant………….

Orla began attending yoga classes in the 90s and quickly discovered the benefits of a regular practice. She practiced Iyengar yoga for 3 years under the guidance of Orla Punch. This helped her a lot in the early stages of her practice where she learnt a lot about the use of props and correct alignment……..

Dr Rajvinder Kaur offers Ayurvedic Consultations by appointment at The Ananta Yoga Studios, Wicklow

Dr Rajvinder Kaur BAMS attained her Bachelor Degree in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery from “Shri Krishna Government Ayurvedic College” in the state of Haryana in India. This is a six year degree course covering all aspects of Ayurvedic Medicine. 
She also has a diploma in Naturopathi and Yoga science and is a qualified Yoga teacher.

Rajvinder worked in General Medicine in India and specialised in women’s health care. She has been in Ireland since 2007 and has become an integral part of the “Ayurveda Centre” . She trained under the guidance of Dr Donn Brennan and specalises in Ayurvedic treatments and consultations. Rajvinder also runs cookery courses, where her knowledge of herbs, spices and healthy eating comes to the fore…………….
