Stephen Brandon MCMA 

Stephen Brandon has studied Yoga under some outstanding teachers from Sri T.Krishnamacharya’s lineage since 1999.
He studied for the Viniyoga Britain Diploma with Ranju Roy and Paul Harvey from 1999 – 2007. During this time he attended workshops & trainings with TKV Desikachar and A.G. and Indra Mohan. In 2007 Stephen met Srivatsa Ramaswami and since then has trained extensively in Vinyasa Krama Yoga and Yoga Philosophy with Ramaswami in India, the USA and the UK. 

In 2015 Stephen met T.K. Sribhashyam (son of Krishnamacharya) and arranged for him to teach a 5 day Seminar in the UK in July 2016. He continued his contact & studies with Sribhashyam until he passed away in November 2017. Stephen continues to study with Srivatsa Ramaswami and Mrs Brigitte Khan, assistant teacher to T.K. Sribhashyam……..

Dr Norah Nelson (PhD) 

Dr Norah Nelson has almost two decades of teaching experience in physical activity and health subjects, working with adults in further education, higher education and local community settings.  After completing a qualification in Massage Therapy (Institute of Physical Therapy and Applied Science, Dublin, 2001) and an honours degree in Sport and Exercise
Science (University of Limerick, 2002), Norah began teaching massage and applied anatomy whilst undertaking her PhD (Dublin City University, 2007). Her research sought to understand and facilitate positive physical activity behaviour among young people and led to a lectureship at the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow (2007- 2010) in physical activity for health. Norah subsequently taught sports massage and exercise therapies at the University of Derby (2010-2013)………….. 

Liz Richards – (086)8963425

Liz Richards is the founder of The Ananta Yoga Studios and a registered SYT (Senior Yoga Teacher) with Yoga Alliance Professionals UK  with over 1000 training hours behind her. She has been teaching Yoga full time since 2009. 

She teaches Classical Yoga using the Vinyasa Krama system and Hatha Yoga principles for all levels from Beginners – Advanced students and her teaching is firmly rooted in the lineage of Krishnamacharya.  

Liz’s passion for yoga is preceded by a love of ballet, modern dance,  gymnastics and equestrian sport in her youth. Having dipped in and out of the internal arts of Yoga, Tai Chi  & Karate from her late teens, she began attending regular yoga classes following the birth of her third child in a bid to improve her general health and over come post-natal depression.

She established a disciplined daily practice in the form of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga and was instantly drawn to the often challenging physical aspect of this ancient discipline and the mental peace and clarity which began to reveal itself through the practice…………..

Dr Rajvinder Kaur offers Ayurvedic Consultations by appointment at The Ananta Yoga Studios, Wicklow

Dr Rajvinder Kaur BAMS attained her Bachelor Degree in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery from “Shri Krishna Government Ayurvedic College” in the state of Haryana in India. This is a six year degree course covering all aspects of Ayurvedic Medicine. 
She also has a diploma in Naturopathi and Yoga science and is a qualified Yoga teacher.

Rajvinder worked in General Medicine in India and specialised in women’s health care. She has been in Ireland since 2007 and has become an integral part of the “Ayurveda Centre” . She trained under the guidance of Dr Donn Brennan and specalises in Ayurvedic treatments and consultations. Rajvinder also runs cookery courses, where her knowledge of herbs, spices and healthy eating comes to the fore…………….

Mark Kinghan – (087) 2217783

Mark Kinghan began his journey of self enquiry and study of spiritual practices in the early 80’s with the practice of Aikido and Qi gong.  He became immersed in Buddhism and completed his first Vipassana course in 1984.

Mark also studied Acupuncture in the 80’s and qualified with The Acupuncture Foundation of Ireland in 1990 continuing on to complete his Acupuncture Clinical Training in China.  Following many years of practice he completed his training in Qi gong and began teaching in 2000.  

He has studied Ayurveda under the guidance of Dr David Frawley and recently has spent a month furthering his Ayurvedic studies in th Jss Ayurvedic Hospital in Mysore, India.  Mark has also studied and qualified in Thai & Aromatherapy Massage.

Marks interest in the internal arts eventually led him to yoga and he completed a 200 hour Teacher Training in the Elbow Room in 2013.  His main yoga practice at this time was in the Ashtanga tradition and he  went on to complete a 40 hour training with David Swenson in 2013.

In 2015 Mark met Srivatsa Ramaswami and Uk Snr Vinyasa Krama teacher Stephen Brandon and since then has been passionate about teaching and practicing Vinyasa Krama Yoga.  He has completed several intensive  trainings with both Ramaswami and Stephen in the past four years including a 100 hour Advanced Vinyasa Krama Training in Chennai with Srivatsa Ramaswami. 

Mark is currently teaches Vinyasa Krama Yoga and practicing Chinese medicine.  We are delighted to welcome him to The  Ananta Yoga Studios where he will be teaching a  Vinyasa Krama Yoga class for men and offering Acupuncture.
