What is Ayurveda?
Ayurveda is a sister science of Yoga. It is difficult to explore one without also exploring the other. Thousands of years before modern medicine provided scientific evidence for the mind-body connection, the sages of India developed Ayurveda, which continues to be one of the world’s most sophisticated and powerful mind-body health systems.

This talk gives a very comprehensive insight in to all aspects of Ayurveda. It deals with Consciousness, as the source of health, and outlines causes of unhappiness and disease. Vata, pitta and kapha, are fundamental principles of Ayurveda. The talk covers what these are and shows how they are balanced to create health. For example the need to create health by different lifestyles and diets appropriate to each season. The importance of digestion and exercising according to your nature is mentioned. The unique perspective of Ayurveda gives an inspiring vision of how to promote health and happiness and how to prevent disease.
