Vanessa Peare is back with her Somatic Movement classes and Somatic Yoga from Monday 4th September
ABOUT SOMATIC MOVEMENT
The purpose of Somatic Movement is to re-educate your body to move freely & painlessly. Movement in these classes is slow and mindful and done comfortably on the floor. The practice supports and guides the progressive release of accumulated and habitual patterns which hold pain and tension in muscles and surrounding areas.
You experience flexibility and freedom and a profound sense of relaxation. Somatics is suitable for people with:
Pain and tension in shoulders, neck, back & hips
Those who wish to improve Posture, Flexibility & Balance
Those who simply wish to maintain a healthy & open body
ABOUT SOMATIC YOGA
Somatic Yoga uses the principles of Somatic Education & Movement to build strength and awareness through a slow integrated Yoga practice.

First term of 8 weeks
FROM -Monday 4th Sept (Somatic Yoga)
Friday 8th Sept (Somatic Movement lessons)
TIMES – Monday Somatic Yoga 10am – 11.30am
Fridays Somatic Movement 10am – 11am
AT – The Ananta Yoga Studio, 5, Wentworth Place, Wicklow Town
€100 for 1 class a week x 8 weeks
€15 Drop in
€160 – 1 Somatic Yoga class & 1 Somatic Movement lesson (ie two classes per week).
