Stephen Brandon MCMA

Stephen Brandon has studied Yoga under some outstanding teachers from Sri T.Krishnamacharya’s lineage since 1999.
He studied for the Viniyoga Britain Diploma with Ranju Roy and Paul Harvey from 1999 – 2007. During this time he attended workshops & trainings with TKV Desikachar and A.G. and Indra Mohan. 

Dr Norah Nelson (PhD)

Dr Norah Nelson has almost two decades of teaching experience in physical activity and health subjects, working with adults in further education, higher education and local community settings.  After completing a qualification in Massage Therapy (Institute of Physical Therapy and Applied Science, Dublin, 2001) and an honours degree in Sport and Exercise

Liz Richards is the founder of The Ananta Yoga Studios and a registered SYT (Senior Yoga Teacher) with Yoga Alliance Professionals UK  with over 1000 training hours behind her. She has been teaching Yoga full time since 2009. She teaches Classical Yoga using the Vinyasa Krama system and Hatha Yoga principles for all levels from Beginners – Advanced students and her teaching is firmly rooted in the lineage of Krishnamacharya.

Louise’s introduction to yoga came at a young age with yoginis Mum and older sister in the home. During her early working life she went to yoga classes in local gyms and really only felt the physical benefits of yoga. It wasn’t until the move to Ireland in 2008 that she began to explore yoga inside the body and became aware of and experienced the connection of mind and body through the breath………..

Maxine has been practising yoga since 2008, when she initially came to yoga as a pro-active approach to injury prevention while engaging in other activities such as cycling and long distance running.

Her  journey began with the practice of Ashtanga Yoga.  A year later she was introduced to Vinyasa Flow and immediately connected with this style where asanas are connected through the breath for a transformative and balancing effect………..

Vanessa had dipped in and out of yoga since her early twenties but did not recognise the true value of the practice until she began to take classes with Vinyasa Yoga Instructor Liz Richards at The Ananta Yoga Studios. Life with three children was busy and Vanessa needed to find peace in her life. She found this peace in her weekly classes at The Ananta Studios on her yoga mat. With a home practice already evolving she dived deeper and deeper into this transformative process………………..

Orla began attending yoga classes in the 90s and quickly discovered the benefits of a regular practice. She practiced Iyengar yoga for 3 years under the guidance of Orla Punch. This helped her a lot in the early stages of her practice where she learnt a lot about the use of props and correct alignment……..

Mark Kinghan – (087) 2217783

Mark Kinghan began his journey of self enquiry and study of spiritual practices in the early 80’s with the practice of Aikido and Qi gong. He became immersed in Buddhism and completed his first Vipassana course in 1984.

Mark also commenced studies in Acupuncture in the 80’s and qualified with The Acupuncture Foundation of Ireland in 1990 continuing on to complete his Acupuncture Clinical Training in Nanjing China.

Having travelled the world and studied many spiritual traditions, Máire finally found truth in the Tao. She trained directly with Grandmaster Mantak Chia in the Tao Garden, and became the first certified Universal Healing Tao Instructor In Ireland. Máire is the founder of Universal Healing Tao Ireland and organises Mantak Chia’s visits to Dublin.

Dr Rajvinder Kaur offers Ayurvedic Consultations by appointment at The Ananta Yoga Studios, Wicklow

Dr Rajvinder Kaur BAMS attained her Bachelor Degree in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery from “Shri Krishna Government Ayurvedic College” in the state of Haryana in India. This is a six year degree course covering all aspects of Ayurvedic Medicine.
She also has a diploma in Naturopathi and Yoga science and is a qualified Yoga teacher.


Dr Donn Brennan 

Dr Donn Brennan was one of the first western medical doctors to train in India in Ayurveda and has also completed an MSc in Ayurveda in Middlesex University, London. He qualified in medicine in 1979 at UCD and then as a G.P.

Sinéad’s curious and wondering mind initially led her to a career in Physics, where she wished to understand how things work in the world at large. In time this interest turned to people and a desire to understand what forms us into the people we are, what influences how we behave, think and are in the world, and most importantly how do we bring about change if our experience of being in the world is painful, unhappy or distressing.
