As women, we undergo various physiological changes from our teens to later years. These changes impact our mind and body in several ways in different life situations.

Understanding the essence of yoga and adapting it to suit us will greatly help in overcoming many of the issues that we face in our daily lives.

This workshop will focus on:
 Understanding the classical perspective on yoga for women
 The eight limbs of classical yoga
 Menstruation, pregnancy and menopause – yoga through them all
 Strength Vs Flexibility – understanding and balancing them in my personal practice
 Emotional well-being and mantras
 Enhancing and empowering women through the practices of yoga

Nitya Mohan, daughter of A.G.Mohan, director of Svastha Yoga and Ayurveda teacher training programs, has been teaching for over 25 years. Trained from a young age in yoga and music, her passion lies in combining Classical Yoga, Music, Mantras and Sanskrit. She holds a degree in music and has taught and performed all over the world. Nitya is an exceptional singer hailed for her purity of voice. Her holistic teaching draws from classical texts such as Yogasutras, Natyashastra, Paniniya Siksha and relevant scientific research.

We are honoured and excited to be welcoming Nitya to our studios in June for the first of what we hope will be many visits. We really hope you will join us for what will be an interesting and enriching few days with a truly great and very experienced teacher.
