Happy New Year everyone!
As always – almost the entire month of January has passed us by and I am only getting down to writing this post now! I hope you all had a restful and healthy Christmas.
Our first term of 2018 has got off to a flying start and the for the first time we are running a ten week block of classes over an eleven week period with a week off in the middle for the week of mid-term (12th February). This seems to suit everyone well and takes us neatly up to the Easter holidays with the minimum of admin & associated re -booking texts! It also allows us to settle into a structured class plan over 10 weeks which is more conducive to learning and progress for all students.
This new term structure means that most of our classes are now fully booked for the ten weeks but do look at the schedule and ring the relevant instructor to check if their is a space for the rest of the block or as a drop in if there is a specific class you are interested in. Students move around a bit to different class times during term and spaces can become free.
We have also added a couple of new classes & times to the schedule with both Louise Curran & Ruth Curtis and will be introducing a new Intro to Yoga Beginners Course on Wednesday nights from Wednesday 16th February 6.30pm – 7.45pm with Maxine Bonus.
Orla Gallagher is now running the Lunch Time Yoga classes on Mondays and Wednesdays and these are very popular with students working in Wicklow town who want to get away from their desks for a while!
We have also been joined by Yasmina Lenahan who is running Baby Massage Courses in our studios! It is such a lovely sight on Thursday mornings to see our youngest little recruits aged 2 weeks and up gathering together with their Mums in Studio 2!
Our Winter schedule of classes along with contact numbers for all the relevant teachers can be found here
Our 200 hour Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training led by Dave & Ruth Curtis continues throughout 2018 and we have a great line up of fantastic workshops & trainings with visiting senior International teachers from Ireland and abroad lined up for you – details of each will appear as a separate post in the newsletter so you can put the dates in your diaries. Early booking is advised for these workshops as they are usually fill up quickly once in the public domain.
So – Here is to a really great year of yoga at The Ananta Yoga Studios in 2018. With many thanks and much gratitude for your ongoing support and commitment to our classes and the trust you place in us to deliver the highest standards of authentic yoga instruction. We will continue to do our very best to serve you by committing to further, regular training with the best teachers we can find – wherever that may take us in the world – so that we can bring these teachings to you.
