Our Introduction to Yoga for Beginners Workshops may be of interest to anyone who is new to Yoga and considering enrolling on one of our Beginners Yoga courses. An introductory immersion such as this gives participating students a solid foundation from which to begin a course of weekly classes.
These relaxed morning workshops in the beautiful and peaceful space of our studios will introduce and explore the fundamental building blocks of Classical Yoga using a step by step, breath connected, intelligenty sequenced movement system known as Vinyasa Krama.
Participants will be introduced to the principles required to cultivate a safe and mindful yoga practice while providing a basic understanding of the philosophy behind the practice and discipline of Classical Yoga.
We have been running Beginners Yoga classes and workshops for over 8 years and have seen our students make solid and steady progress from beginners level right up to advanced through the teaching methodology and approach we use. This systematic approach also means that the practice is suitable for everyone – regardless of stage of life, fitness levels or previous experience.
The practice is adapted to the individual needs of each student as much as possible within a class setting rather than the student having to conform to a rigid and inflexible system which may be completely unsuitable or inaccessible for some. Modifications and variations of all the postures are offered and props are used where necessary.
Our Beginners level Yoga classes and workshops are backed up by a diverse schedule of weekly class times and levels which are taught by experienced and qualified instructors who have passion, commitment and complete faith in this ancient practice as a powerful and transformative discipline which works to improve physical, emotional and spiritual health & wellbeing.
